Description

The Hip Hop – DJ stamp is part of a set of four stamps released by the United States Postal Service on July 1, 2020, honoring the history and cultural impact of hip hop music. The stamp features a digital illustration of a DJ wearing a hoodie and headphones, with his hands on the turntables and mixer. The colorful background shows the bright lights and energy of a dance party, with speakers and records scattered throughout.

The stamp was designed by Cade Martin, with art direction by Antonio Alcalá. The release of the set was celebrated with events and performances across the country, highlighting the continued influence of hip hop on American culture and music.
